For those passengers looking for a relaxing break in a luxurious spa hotel with outstanding facilities, we are pleased to introduce the beautiful and award-winning Lincombe Hall Hotel & Spa. An oasis of calm, the hotel is situated in the seaside town of Torquay with Devon’s picturesque coast and countryside easily accessible. A memorable ride on the Dartmouth Steam Railway followed by a one-hour cruise from Dartmouth is included.
Day 1 Arrival
We arrive at our hotel in time for dinner.
Day 2 Day at leisure including Spa access
Today we have a relaxing day at leisure to enjoy our surroundings as well as experience the magnificent spa facilities and treatments on offer at our hotel. During your day, indulge with either morning coffee and cake or afternoon cream tea. As well as enjoying the spa facilities, you can completely unwind and relieve stress by booking one of a wide choice of spa treatments available including skin detoxes, massages, pedicures and manicures (not included – payable directly).
(Please note that to ensure the best experience, groups will be split between morning and afternoon for accessing the spa).
Day 3 Newton Abbot Market, Teignmouth and a tipple
This morning we travel to the historic market town of Newton Abbot, known for its choice of markets, shops and restaurants. We can browse the markets and perhaps enjoy coffee at a local café. Afterwards, we journey to the stunning coastal town of Teignmouth surrounded lush countryside and known for its historic Georgian buildings and long sandy beaches. We return to Torquay to enjoy a drink and the magnificent views over the bay – a wonderful way to finish the day before returning to our hotel.
Day 4 Dartmouth Steam Railway
This morning, we board the Dartmouth Steam Railway for an historic train journey through the beautiful countryside from Paignton to Kingswear. Afterwards, we enjoy a 1 hour circular cruise from Dartmouth, the beautiful town set on the banks of the picturesque River Dart. After returning to dry land, we have free time for lunch before pick-up by coach. We return to our hotel with a stop en-route in the market town of Totnes, set within the South Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and where we can shop for hand-crafted souvenirs.
Day 5 Departure
After breakfast, we make our way home.
We arrive at our hotel in time for dinner.

Ideally situated in a quiet spot in Torquay and just a short distance from the town centre, marina and pretty beaches, Lincombe Hall Hotel & Spa offers indulgent and relaxing spa getaways. Originally built in 1841, the elegant hotel features contemporary facilities and guest rooms with king-size beds, en-suite bathrooms, flat screen TVs, tea and coffee making facilities. Templespa spa products, bathrobes and flipflops are also included. Spa facilities include indoor and outdoor swimming pools complete with hot tubs. Guests can indulge in a wonderful spa treatment or enjoy a relaxing drink on the Terrace, or afternoon tea in the hotel lounge. Using locally sourced ingredients, The Brasserie offers tempting lunch and dinner menus set in stately surroundings. There is no lift but ground floor rooms are available. Please note that due to the position of the hotel, there are some steps and slopes to be negotiated.
